Q.1) Find the perimeter of a square with side length 4.7m.
SOLUTION:
Given: SQUARE
Side = 4.7m = S
Perimeter of square = P = ?
Perimeter of a square = 4*S
P = 4*4.7
P = 18.8m
ANS: The perimeter of a square is 18.8m.

Q.2) The perimeter of a rectangle is 42cm and its length is 10cm. Find its breadth.
SOLUTION:
Given: RECTANGLE
Length = L = 10cm
Breadth = B = ?
Perimeter of a rectangle = P = 42cm
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2*( L+B )
42 = 2*( 10+ B )
42/2 = 10 + B
21 – 10 = B
11cm = B
ANS: The perimeter of a rectangle is 11cm.

P = 2*51
P = 102m
